Dragon's Gym Thai Boxing enables students to reach an outstanding level of fitness with a high tempo workout containing the skills and techniques of the Thai boxer.
Whether your aim is to get into shape and tone up or to reach a good level of sparring and self-defence, this club is ideal.
Thai Boxing or Mauy Thai is also known as the 'art of eight limbs' because both hands, elbows, knees and legs are used in combat. For this reason, this martial art is especially beneficial for toning and stretching the muscles. Almost every move in Thai Boxing uses the whole body, thus helping participants to achieve the highest fitness levels.
Our training programme will suit individuals with little or no martial arts experience and is safe to practise in our controlled environment led by an experienced instructor. Participants can also compete if they wish, in order to test themselves and their skills.
Dragon's Gym Thai Boxing classes take place on Friday evenings.
